The #YouTubeBlack Voices Fund is the company’s global, multi-year commitment to center and grow Black creators and artists on their platform. This initiative was launched back in June 2020 in the wake of the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Last week, YouTube shared some interesting updates on their new initiative. As perYouTube,“After many months of collaboration, we’re shining a spotlight on the #YouTubeBlack Voices Class of 2021 – a group of 132 creators and artists whose talents are as diverse as their hometowns. Hailing from the United States, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, and Nigeria, this incredible group includes musicians, beauty entrepreneurs, comedians, activists, poets, personal trainers, teachers, parents, photographers, and more.”This initiative will also equip and amplify the Black creators and artists with the resources to succeed on YouTube. We’re so in love with this!
